The Valero Texas Open maintains a fully staffed first-aid facility capable of responding to any emergency need. If you are the first person to encounter an emergency, you should use the following procedure:

Stay calm and solicit assistance from another volunteer. One volunteer should stay with the spectator and the other should seek immediate help.

If you are close to a tee/green area, gallery control members are radio-equipped.

Go to any concession stand; they too are radio-equipped.

Provide your location and ask for immediate help.

If the emergency is severe, play can be stopped.

Any of these sites can relay emergency messages to the first-aid facility.
